| ROT KRAUT (sweet /sour red cabbage) |
Ingredients:
- Red Cabbage 1 head coarsly chopped
- Allspice 3/4 tsp
- Cloves 4
- Apple 1 cored, peeled and chopped
- Vinegar 1/2 cup

| Procedure |
Place all in saucepan. Add small amount water to prevent scorching. bring to boil and simmer until cabbage is tender. Add 1/4 cup butter or some bacon fat. when done; thicken with cornstarch.
Can be done easy in crockpot. |
